Downloading Tachistoscope 1.1 is a two step process.  First, click on Tach 1.1 exe to download the self extracting Tach 1.1 file. After you extract it, you'll get a Tachistoscope 1.1 folder.  (If you're studying Chinese, download Chinese Tach 1.1 exe.  It's got an extra feature that will allow you to sort words by their pinyin tones).  Next, click on Purchase Tachistoscope 1.1.  That will take you to a secure site where you can purchase the file you need to run the program. After you purchase and extract it, you will have an EducationGame.exe file.  Now, cut and paste it into the Tachistoscope 1.1 folder.  After you've done this final step, doubleclick on EducationGame.exe to start the program.

Upgrades: (Last added Oct. 26, 2007)

I've upgraded Tachistoscope 1.1 several times since I first put it up on the internet.  The tutorial movies show the old version.  If you have any suggestions to improve it, tell me and I'll see if I can add it to the program.

Download one of the files if you've already using Tachistoscope 1.1.  Both contain a single file (slgtestfile1.swf) so it's quicker than downloading the entire folder again. 

How to upgrade:  In your Tachistoscope 1.1 folder you'll find the old slgtestfile1.swf file.  Delete that and, after you've downloaded and unzipped it, put one of the upgraded files in there to replace it.
